Facilities Night Shift Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – Gray Court, SC

Nesco Resource is now hiring a Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Gray Court, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and other industrial systems.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Inspect, test, and replace defective components to restore proper equipment operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform basic machining and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Report unsafe conditions, defective materials, and equipment concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete assigned work orders.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all company safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Experience using SAP or other ERP maintenance systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with metric measurements preferred.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive work ethic.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift up to 35 pounds and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Possess good vision, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
