Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Nesco is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Coordinator to support a Vision Repair team in both administrative and hands-on technical responsibilities. This is a unique dual-role opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer interaction, technical coordination, and mechanical troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

Approximately 70% of this role will involve office-based responsibilities such as customer service, sourcing vendors, coordinating outsourced repairs, reviewing products, managing drawings, and purchasing activities. The remaining 30% will involve assisting with hands-on equipment and product repairs alongside the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate repair orders and outsourced repair activities

• Source replacement parts and manage vendor relationships

• Handle purchasing, supplier coordination, and inventory support

• Review products and maintain technical documentation and drawings

• Create and manage drawings using CAD or comparable software

• Enter and track sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices

• Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process

• Assist with equipment testing, troubleshooting, and repair work

• Support the General Manager with hands-on repairs as needed

• Maintain organized records and ensure timely project follow-up

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field

• CAD or comparable software experience required

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to interpret technical information and drawings

• Comfortable working both in an office environment and in a hands-on technical setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or GIS software

• QuickBooks and/or Fishbowl experience

• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on repair experience

• Customer service or technical support experience
