The Key Account Manager is responsible for one or more Key Account (KA) customers on a global scale.
- Being responsible for the entire Key Account, he/she:
- Defines the key account strategy, the relationship management, lead generation, opportunity development, RfQ handling, pricing, contract negotiation, etc.
- Act as the main point of contact for the Key Account customer for all applications and actively pursues business potentials in other applications at the key account.
More specifically:

Build inroads to key prospects in eMobility (incumbent OEMs and tier suppliers as well as new companies driving global change towards new driveline systems)

Assume global responsibility for the business in key accounts assigned

Define, monitor and review account strategy for assigned key accounts, long-term growth target per application per key account and budgeting targets for key accounts

Develop business at key account according to targets, drives sales activities to serve the key account’s needs and interact with key buying centers

Oversee global price management, commercial terms (shipping, payment, contracts etc.), and engineering change requests, facilitate commercial reviews with key accounts

Identify technical challenges, promote innovation, coordinate development and drive customer adoption of solutions

Manages customer projects and assume responsibility for the key account contracts

For E-Mobility prospect key accounts, orchestrate business development activities and build
inroads to decision makers
Requirements

University Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. in Engineering or Business) combined with relevant technical experience

3+ years experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, Technical Sales management or in a adjacent sales, product management or marketing role

Extensive experience with sales of technical products requiring in-depth technical explanations

Competency in management of key accounts and associated networking

Strong commercial acumen, understanding of a P&L, high affinity for numbers, proficiency in Excel, great analytical skills

Fluent Japanese and English
