We are seeking a motivated Accounts Payables Officer to join a busy Accounts Payable team. This role plays a key part in supporting accurate and timely financial processing, contributing to effective cashflow management by ensuring suppliers are paid correctly and promptly.

The Role
- Processing a high volume of invoices and credits with accuracy and within required deadlines
- Ensuring correct authorisation processes are followed and payments are made within supplier trading terms
- Completing supplier reconciliations and following up on any discrepancies
- Responding promptly to queries from internal customers and suppliers
- Maintaining the integrity of accounting data and ensuring compliance with tax and legal requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the payables function
- Contributing positively to team performance and organisational values
- Previous experience in high-volume accounts payable or relevant administration processing
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with financial and commercial data
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with enterprise systems is advantageous)
- Intermediate MS Excel skills and competence across the Microsoft Office suite
- A team-focused approach with excellent customer service and communication skills
- Candidates will need valid working rights for New Zealand
