We are recruiting for an experienced Nurse Qualified Nursing Home Manager to oversee a large, well-established nursing service in the Cambridge area. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the service delivers person-centred care of the highest standard while maintaining full regulatory compliance and commercial success. Key Responsibilities • Provide inspirational leadership to multidisciplinary teams, creating a positive, compassionate, and high-performing culture. • Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, responsive and person-centred nursing and residential care. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain excellent quality and compliance standards in line with CQC requirements. • Lead, mentor and develop department managers and clinical teams to maximise performance and retention. • Maintain occupancy levels through excellent reputation management and relationship building. • Manage budgets, financial performance and resource allocation effectively. • Ensure robust governance, safeguarding, risk management and clinical oversight across the service. • Develop strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders. • Prepare for and successfully manage regulatory inspections and audits. • Promote a culture centred around dignity, respect, compassion and outstanding resident outcomes. Requirements • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) with active NMC PIN. • Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager within a large elderly care setting. • Strong understanding of CQC regulations, governance and compliance frameworks. • Demonstrable track record of achieving positive inspection outcomes. • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and occupancy. • Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. • Passion for delivering outstanding care and improving the lives of older people.
