Senior Carer (Dementia Residential Care Home) Leeds, West Yorkshire £13.90 per hour (Mon–Fri) £14.45 per hour (Sat–Sun) Part-time | Shift pattern: 8am–8pm On-call required About the Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Carer to join a medium-sized dementia residential care home in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established care provider in a stable, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead shifts and support care staff in delivering outstanding care Provide hands-on personal care and emotional support to residents Administer or assist with medication (where trained) Support residents living with dementia with dignity and compassion Communicate effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and management Complete care documentation and maintain high compliance standards Be part of the on-call rota as required What We’re Looking For: Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant / Senior Carer Strong knowledge of dementia and residential care environments A calm, professional, and supportive leadership style NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) preferred Flexibility to work 8am–8pm shifts and take part in on-call duties What’s on Offer: Competitive hourly rates with enhanced weekend pay Supportive staffing team and stable working environment Opportunity to grow with a reputable, established provider Rewarding role making a genuine difference every day INDLP Our Promise: At New Way Recruitment, we believe in Heart-Led Hiring in Care.
