EPA Apartment Maintenance Technician

Apply directWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced EPA Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician for an apartment community. This individual will need to independently handle basic plumbing, basic electrical, painting, drywall repairs, etc.
Maintenance Technicians Responsibilities:
- Strong experience in the following tasks:
- Plumbing - sink/shower/toilet repair, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains (snaking when applicable)
- Electrical - replacing fixtures and switches, knowledge or proper safety protocol, rewiring when applicable
- Carpentry - patching holes, replacing doors/locks, hanging cabinetry, light touch-up painting
- Appliances - help with installation of W&D, stoves (when applicable), installing garbage disposals, small repairs
- Technicians should be courteous to residents and provide realistic expectations for completed job
- Report missing/needed parts to Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager (as instructed)
Maintenance Technicians Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential maintenance - apartments, hotels or private homes
- You must have personal hand tools and drills - bring to site daily; do not leave at property
- Must have reliable transportation and have a team mentality
- Ability to handle physical workload
