Quality Project Team Member

Role & Responsibilities:

Project quality control

• Avoid taking unnecessary risks on the project
• Customer quality deliverables and objectives are fulfilled (design, process, quality cost, timing)
• Control and monitoring of the conformity on Clean process
  • From project planning for Product Group, Product Line or Regional Operation entities, from off tools for Site organization
• Customer interface for Quality matters in development of the assigned projects in the Product Group/Site

Manage the quality in project

• Set and monitor the Quality Roadmap for the project to reach the quality and cost targets. Define the quality cost of the project. Follow up on the customer milestones.
• Detect risks and prevent problems.
• React when a risk is identified, and escalate roadblocks to management.

Ensure CPM is respected

• Respect for build-in quality standards: SPPC tracking sheets used; SPPC identification procedure is respected; SPPC transfer to supplier.

Focus on design and change

• Ensure product and process novelty is considered in DFMEA, PFMEA, and DV&PV
• Ensure LLC is used in D/P FMEA to reduce and emphasize RPN
• After the design freeze, ensure 4M matrix is respected with regard to product or process changes, and ensure customer awareness and approval of changes in accordance with the 4M matrix
• Update the quality documents following a product/process-related change
• Participate in design reviews, including suppliers’ and toolmakers’ design review
• Perform the revision of the control plan after an issue and/or after test results

Support the supplier management activities

• Support activities defined for internal and external supplier parts on Company sites to support purchasing and SQA team, as defined in the Quality RASIC.
• Collect suppliers encountered issues and alternative proposals made by the suppliers to integrate

Get the IS validated by the customer on time

• Define prototype, pre-serial, and serial control plans as the owner of the milestones
• Ensure consistency among the SPPC, FMEA, and control plan
• Participate in the pre-FDPR and FDPR
• Prepare IS internal and customer deliverables and internal initial sample files to be validated by Site Quality Manager prior to presentation to customer for sign-off

Apply QRQC rules

• Participate in the project QRQC and ensure project team use of QRQC material/rules
• Ensure that all the issues are in the single list of issues and manage in the QRQC
• Throughout the project, RQC ensures rules are respected. Stop at first disagreement.
• Initiate a VIM incident in the case of DV or PV test failures

Requirements

• Education/degree: university degree or higher
• Japanese and English - business level or higher
  • Project meetings are held in English.
  • Communicative skills in Japanese are required to explain to customers.
• Products handled include the development of interior and exterior switches.
• Quality Project Team Member (PTM) will not have subordinates to oversee.
• Experience and skills related to quality other than automobiles and automobile parts.
• Knowledge of quality processes as described in the job requirements.
