ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a varied and hands-on People Culture and Capability Advisor role supporting leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with an experienced Head of People, Culture & Capability, you will provide trusted HR advice, coordinate end-to-end recruitment, support employee relations matters and contribute to culture and engagement initiatives. You will also play a key role in continuous improvement projects, reporting and systems administration while helping to deliver a positive and seamless employee experience across the organisation.

DUTIES
  • Provide timely and practical HR advice to leaders and employees
  • Support performance, development and employee engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Prepare employment contracts, variations and HR documentation
  • Assist with employee relations matters, investigations and case management
  • Maintain HR systems, employee records and reporting dashboards
  • Coordinate probation reviews, onboarding tasks and exit processes
  • Contribute to wellbeing, recognition and diversity initiatives
  • Review and improve People & Culture policies, procedures and processes
  • Partner with stakeholders to support capability development programs
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Previous experience in a People Culture & Capability, HR Advisor or similar role
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Experience managing recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
  • Previous exposure to HR reporting and data analysis highly regarded
