The Delivery unit undertakes three (3) primary roles:
Responsibilities of the role include:
• Provide reports on the progress of works and actual and forecast expenditure.
• Act as "Representative of the Principal" for the delivery of contracts as defined and delegated at respective project.
• Display financial and commercial acumen in maintaining project budgets and provide financial oversight on projects.
• Ensure all quality and environmental aspects of the project are identified and addressed to maintain effective operation and project delivery.
• Manage the calling and assessment of tenders and the contract awarding process for preconstruction and construction projects in the Region's Roads Implementation Program.
• Provide high level engineering advice and input into planning and design suitability and options, the use of materials, resources, components or systems within the project, and construction practices and problems to ensure project.

• Identify and manage networks and alliances of all stakeholders and manage the expectations and issues of all parties including identifying possible political and high-risk matters to ensure they are dealt with in a timely and professional
manner.
About You and Mandatory Requirements:
• Four-year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) accredited under the Washington Accord or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Registered as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
• Minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience delivering transport infrastructure projects.
• Class C driver’s license
• OH&S Construction Induction (white card or equivalent) will be required

- Pre-Construction - manages the delivery of preliminary and detailed design of projects for the region. Coordinates early works on projects including relocation of services and resumptions.
- Construction – responsible for delivering projects in the construction phase of the project life-cycle, including contract management and supervision of the works onsite.
- Maintenance – responsible for maintaining and protecting infrastructure assets while enhancing and improving safety through delivery of maintenance, rehabilitation and various safety projects.

What this role offers you
- Opportunity to work on large, QLD government infrastructure projects.
- Gold Coast (Nerang) based, with WFH hybrid flexibility.
- Up to $152 per Hour + 12% Superannuation.
- 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Ability to be engaged as Pty Ltd (if eligible)
- Weekly pay cycles.
- No payrolling fees for our service.
