- Support the successful delivery of the project by:
- Providing general administrative project support for activities such as scheduling meetings and workshops, minute taking, records management as relevant to project deliverables.
- Drafting and reviewing policies and procures and detailed work instructions.
- Ensuring project documentation is maintained and stored in line with IS&T standards.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the project’s continuous improvement through identifying areas for improvement and implementing approved solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
Essential Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work under general direction and exercise initiative and judgement in relation to project support activities.
- Experience in a project support role including developing project management documents and policy documents.
- Demonstrated skills in project management or administration and the collection and collation of information from a range of sources.
- Demonstrate analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think laterally and conceptually.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, verbally, in writing and by means of presentations, including the ability to produce reports of a high quality.
- Ability to establish and manage registers, databases and/or spreadsheets using Excel or similar software.
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
- Possess a high level of personal integrity and credibility and maintain confidentiality.
- Sound knowledge of project administration relevant to a government environment.
Desirable Characteristics
- Experience working in government, policing, regulatory, or legislative environments.
Hourly rate : $40-43 (inc 2.5% admin fee ) + super

- Candidate demonstrates experience with broad project administration and reporting for business transformation projects with preference of work experience in the Public Sector.
- Candidate demonstrates sound experience with drafting policy papers, work instructions and detailed procedures.
- Candidate demonstrates capability and capacity to capture meeting minutes, organise workshops and manage project document repositories.
- Candidate demonstrates experience in working with tools such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, JIRA, ect.
- Candidate demonstrates clear, concise communication with stakeholders at all levels, from operational staff to senior executives, adapting style and tone to suit the audience.
