Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Job Summary

Core Personnel Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a top-tier manufacturing and building materials facility in Sealy, TX.

In this role, you will be responsible for the care, preventive maintenance, and continuous operation of production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems. We are seeking a reliable technician who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and prioritizes workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Care & Repair: Perform routine, preventive, and emergency repairs on production machinery, processing systems, and packaging equipment.

  • Technical Documentation: Read, analyze, and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to troubleshoot machinery effectively.

  • Tool & Equipment Operation: Safely utilize a variety of manual hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment to complete repairs.

  • Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including mandatory Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and wearing required PPE at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required (or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience).

  • Technical Skills: Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift 25–50 lbs.

  • Screening & Exams: Must be able to pass a Hazmat exam, pre-employment drug screen, and background check (Safety-Sensitive Position).
