Aluminium TIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled aluminium TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience welding aluminium components using TIG (GTAW) processes, ensuring high-quality, precise welds that meet industry and company standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical ability, and a commitment to safety and quality. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on aluminum materials according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications

  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including proper selection of filler materials and shielding gases

  • Inspect welds to ensure structural integrity, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards

  • Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and fitting components prior to welding

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and company policies

  • Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary adjustments to equipment and techniques

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in welding preferred

  • 2+ years of experience with TIG welding, specifically on aluminium or has Welding Certifications preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols

  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and fabrication processes

  • Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
