Apply directOur client, a leading global logistics and freight forwarding company, is seeking an experienced Sea Freight Manager to oversee ocean freight operations across Hong Kong and Greater China.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily sea freight operations, including FCL, LCL, and consolidation shipments
- Oversee shipping documentation, cross-border shipments, trucking, and transportation arrangements
- Coordinate closely with carriers, co-loaders, overseas offices, agents, and internal stakeholders
- Drive operational excellence by reviewing processes and implementing efficiency improvements
- Monitor service performance and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop visibility into sea freight business performance and support growth initiatives
- Lead and mentor the operations team to achieve operational and commercial objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 8+ years of experience within freight forwarding or logistics, with solid exposure to ocean freight operations
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong and Mainland China shipping operations
- Proven leadership and team management experience

Hands-on experience in sea freight pricing, rate procurement, contract negotiation, and market analysis
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
