Senior Full-Stack Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a small, product-focused engineering team and take ownership across the full development lifecycle.

This is a React + TypeScript full-stack role, with a strong focus on product development, AI-assisted engineering and end-to-end ownership.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and delivering new product features across frontend and backend
• Taking ownership from problem definition through to architecture, implementation and delivery
• Working primarily with React and TypeScript on the frontend
• Contributing to backend development and the ongoing migration towards a modern stack
• Using AI as part of the engineering workflow, including AI agents, code generation, specifications and orchestration
• Making architectural and technical decisions, rather than simply working from predefined requirements
• Working closely with the wider team to understand the product and challenge ideas where appropriate
• Potentially contributing to some desktop/edge-case functionality, including barcode scanner integration
• Working with AWS as the preferred cloud platform

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer
• Strong React + TypeScript experience
• Solid backend/full-stack engineering capability
• A product mindset, someone who thinks about the problem they're solving, not just the code they're writing
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking end-to-end ownership
• Experience working with AI-assisted development, including using AI agents, writing effective specifications/prompts and understanding how to validate and orchestrate AI-generated code
• Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering fundamentals
• Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving environment where there can be some ambiguity
• Able to communicate technical decisions clearly and explain the thinking behind your implementation

Nice to have

• .NET/C# experience, particularly the ability to navigate and understand legacy .NET/desktop code. You won't be spending the majority of your time in .NET.
• AWS experience, preferred, although Azure experience is also relevant.
• Experience in a startup, scale-up or smaller engineering team.
