Salary: $115,000–$140,000 base + commission
Location: New York, NY | Hybrid - 4 days in office, 1 day remote

We’re looking for a proven recruitment leader to take ownership of a high-performing Insurance Technology business within an established global financial services recruitment firm. This is not a step away from recruitment and into pure management. It’s a player-coach leadership opportunity for someone who wants to keep winning commercially while building a team, growing strategic accounts and increasing their earning potential.
The business is already significantly ahead of annual target, with multiple record months achieved in 2026 and established enterprise relationships creating substantial additional opportunity.
The Vice President, Insurance Technology will … lead from the front, combining personal production, strategic client development and team leadership to accelerate growth across the New York market.
Role Highlights
– Lead and develop a high-performing team of approximately 6 recruitment consultants
– Continue to personally bill while creating new revenue through senior-level relationships
– Own and expand strategic enterprise accounts across Insurance Technology
– Work alongside dedicated enterprise sales and key account teams to unlock cross-selling opportunities
– Help shape future team growth, desk strategy and the wider leadership structure
You Will Need
– Senior recruitment leadership experience at VP, Director, Senior Manager or equivalent level
– A proven personal billing record and genuine commercial drive
– Insurance Technology recruitment experience strongly preferred
– Experience leading teams or pods of approximately 4–8 consultants
– The confidence to win enterprise relationships, develop markets and generate demand rather than wait for vacancies
