We're partnering with a globally recognised recruitment business to appoint an Associate Director / Director to help lead and scale its North American Permanent division.

This is a rare opportunity to inherit an established, profitable team whilst playing a key role in the next phase of growth across the US market.
The Business Our client is an international recruitment business with over 300 employees and offices across EMEA, APAC and the Americas.

With a strong reputation across Critical Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Renewables & Sustainability and Finance, they partner with clients delivering some of the world's most significant investment and infrastructure projects.

Backed by private equity, the business has ambitious growth plans and offers direct access to an experienced executive leadership team based in New York, creating genuine visibility and opportunity for ambitious leaders.
The Opportunity Based in New York City, you'll join the North American Permanent leadership team as the number two to the Head of Permanent Recruitment.

You'll inherit responsibility for three specialist business units spanning Finance, Infrastructure and Client Services, leading an established team of 12 consultants and managers.
This is a genuine player-manager role, combining strategic leadership with hands-on client engagement and commercial delivery.
What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and developing an established team across multiple specialist markets
• Coaching managers and consultants to maximise performance
• Driving revenue growth across an already profitable P&L
• Maintaining an active presence in the market through senior client relationships
• Supporting the continued expansion of the North American Permanent business
• Working closely with executive leadership on long-term growth strategy

Who We're Looking For We're interested in experienced recruitment leaders who combine strong commercial performance with an engaging leadership style.
You could currently be:

• Associate Director
• Director
• Business Manager
• Divisional Manager
• High-performing Managing Consultant ready to step into leadership

Experience within Finance, Infrastructure, Engineering, Energy or professional services recruitment would be advantageous, although we're equally interested in leaders with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and growing profitable recruitment businesses.
Package

• Base salary up to $175,000
• Uncapped bonus with realistic OTE of $250,000-$300,000 year 1.
