We're partnering with an established international recruitment and executive search business to appoint a Global Head of Power, Utilities & Infrastructure.

This is a rare opportunity to take genuine ownership of a strategically important market, building a global practice across North America, EMEA and APAC while benefiting from the infrastructure, brand and investment of an established international business.

The Business
Our client is a specialist international recruitment and search business with a strong reputation across the sustainability, energy transition, infrastructure and environmental markets.
Operating internationally, the business works with corporates, investors, developers and professional services organisations addressing some of the biggest challenges associated with the global energy transition.
With an established platform, strong leadership team and ambitious growth plans, the business is now looking to make a significant investment in its Power, Utilities & Infrastructure capability.

The Opportunity
Ideally based in New York, you'll take responsibility for developing and executing the global strategy across Power, Utilities & Infrastructure.
This is not simply a management role.
You'll be expected to combine market leadership, commercial development, strategic hiring and team building, creating a platform capable of becoming a significant contributor to the wider business.
There is already a strong brand, infrastructure and international network to leverage, but you'll have genuine autonomy over how the practice develops.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building and executing the global strategy across Power, Utilities & Infrastructure
• Establishing and significantly scaling the business's presence across the US market
• Developing senior client relationships across utilities, developers, investors, infrastructure businesses and the wider energy ecosystem
• Originating high-value retained search and recruitment mandates
• Identifying new markets, sectors and geographic opportunities
• Hiring, developing and leading a high-performing international team
• Working closely with the executive leadership team on wider growth strategy
• Building a scalable, profitable global P&L

The successful individual is likely to combine strong personal commercial capability with a proven ability to build and lead teams.
An established senior-level network across the US Power, Utilities or Infrastructure market would be particularly attractive.
Package

• Base salary circa $220,000-$250,000
• Bonus potential of up to 100% of base salary
• Equity participation 
• Significant autonomy and global responsibility
• New York preferred, although there may be flexibility for an exceptional individual
