Renewal Account Manager - Fortune 500 SaaS

12 Month FTC | $133.33k + Super + Commission - OTE $160k + Super

Our client is a Fortune 500 SaaS company and global leader in digital experience software, empowering millions of individuals and businesses to design, create, and deliver exceptional digital experiences. As part of their Customer Experience Subscription Renewals team, they are seeking a Renewal Account Manager to join their Enterprise & Territory Led business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Opportunity

Retention sits at the heart of this business's success. This role is responsible for driving and owning the account management and renewal process end-to-end across a portfolio of territory accounts - ensuring on-time renewal success through close collaboration with Sales Leadership, Solution Account Managers, Solution Account Executives, and Operations specialists.

You'll work directly with customers to set them up for success ahead of their renewal, delivering value-based propositions on SaaS solutions, supporting their business requirements, and overcoming objections to save at-risk renewals.

What You'll Do

  • Develop deep expertise in the organisation's Marketing Solutions portfolio
  • Maintain visibility on renewals 120–180+ days in advance of expiration through to closure - tracking risk, key stakeholders, account activity, and opportunities for expansion or revenue growth
  • Actively lead the adoption, usage, and success of your portfolio of customers
  • Review customers' key business objectives and identify activities and metrics to support progress toward their goals
  • Use your network, influence, and expertise to identify and innovate in creative ways
  • Build and grow relationships within your accounts, becoming a trusted partner
  • Engage with and understand clients' use cases, actively encouraging creative utilisation of solutions
  • Apply strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with confidence handling complex customer situations while delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Research customer contracts and purchasing history in CRM systems to build timely, accurate renewal quotations
  • Empower account managers, sales managers, and partners to help drive renewals to conclusion
  • Engage with legal, finance, operations, and contracts teams to resolve customer issues
  • Manage your opportunity pipeline week to week, providing accurate and timely updates on progress and attrition outlook
  • Attain quarterly targets for bookings, on-time renewals, and overall critical renewal metrics

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar or related function (e.g. Technology Inside Sales, Sales Operations, Services Renewals, Account Management) with direct customer interaction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to expertly handle conflict
  • Articulate, with a consultative approach to business problems
  • Ability to establish rapport and relationships across teams and with partners at different levels of seniority
  • High emotional intelligence in crafting and delivering communications, adapting style and content to audience
  • Strong numeracy skills, including intermediate familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Competence with sales pipeline management and CRM tools including SFDC, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or similar

Desirable:

  • Good knowledge of SaaS sales models, especially marketing automation, web analytics, targeting, or advertising
  • Background in Services or Customer Care in a high-technology environment, supporting high-value Enterprise customers
