This is a key leadership role within the corporate services function, responsible for driving the full spectrum of human resources activity across a multi-site, project-based workforce. You will partner closely with senior leaders to shape workforce strategy, strengthen capability, and ensure compliance across all people and cultural practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and workforce planning
- Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic advice on workforce structure, capability, and organisational growth
- Manage employee relations matters including performance management, grievances, and disciplinary processes
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, awards, and industrial instruments across a multi-site workforce
- Support workforce planning to meet project mobilisation and operational demands
- Oversee learning and development initiatives, including leadership capability and training compliance
- Contribute to culture and engagement initiatives aligned with company values and safety expectations
- Support HR reporting, data accuracy, and system improvements in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Work closely with operations and HSE teams to support a strong safety and wellbeing culture
About You
- 5–8+ years’ HR experience, ideally within project-based or multi-site environments
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards, and industrial relations
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters with confidence and fairness
- Experience supporting recruitment, workforce planning, and retention strategies
- A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy and operational delivery
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leaders
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
