HARKE has partnered with an independent education provider in Gippsland that delivers a highly personalised approach to learning for students who benefit from alternative educational pathways. With small class sizes of approximately 8-15 students, the school focuses on building strong relationships, individualised learning programs, and meaningful engagement. Teachers work within a primary generalist model, supporting students across multiple learning areas rather than as subject specialists. The school also partners with industry to provide hands-on learning experiences and vocational opportunities that help students connect their education to future pathways.

This full-time teaching position involves working with students who have diverse learning, social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Every student follows an individualised learning plan, with projects and learning experiences tailored to their goals, interests, and support requirements.

The school is seeking a relationship-focused educator who can create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment while adapting programs to meet individual student needs. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students who thrive in a flexible and personalised educational setting.

• Deliver engaging and differentiated learning programs tailored to individual student needs
• Build strong and positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Collaborate with staff to develop and review individual learning plans
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment

• Current or eligible VIT registration
• Experience working with students requiring additional learning and wellbeing support highly regarded
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between campuses using a company pool vehicle if required
• Full Australian working rights
• Two referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding
