Commercial Vehicle System Validation Engineer (ADAS)

• Validation of Camera- and Radar-based Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

• Assists to define requirements definition and analysis of system specification

• Develop, prepare and review test specifications

• Prepare and install equipment in vehicle and debug equipment data

• Responsible for Camera and Radar installation and calibration

• Perform vehicle performance tests accordingly to performance specification

• Analysis, documentation and interpretation of test results by using simulation and analysis tools like Matlab or Vector tools (development of scripts)

• Issue reporting into ADAS development organization

• Support ADAS development on both company and customer side

Requirements

• Ability to understand complex functions in embedded systems and creativity to develop test specifications

• Knowledge in tools like Matlab and DOORS and experience of using vehicle specific measurement equipment and data acquisition especially in CANape and CANalyzer.

• Structured, target oriented und very independent way of working especially in regards of specification development and documentation

• At least two years of system or vehicle testing experience background

• Knowledge in electronics and electrical product testing

• Knowledge in the programming languages

• Ideally, experience in the automotive development

• Basic knowledge of project management

• Basic knowledge of presentation techniques

• Experience in dealing with customers

• Driver’s license and sufficient driving experience are required, driver’s license for trucks are preferred.

• Willingness to travel
