We’re looking for an experienced Produce Manager to take ownership of a busy Fresh Produce department on Rottnest Island. This is an opportunity to step into a strong leadership role while enjoying a lifestyle that’s hard to find anywhere else.

About the role You’ll lead the day-to-day operation of the Produce department, driving freshness, presentation, availability, sales and team performance.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Leading, coaching and developing your team
  • Managing stock, ordering, rotation and waste
  • Driving sales, margins and department KPIs
  • Maintaining exceptional fresh food standards
  • Ensuring food safety and compliance
  • Creating a great experience for customers and your team
About You

You'll be a hands-on leader who enjoys working with fresh food and creating an exceptional customer experience.

You'll bring:
  • Previous experience managing a Produce or Fresh Food department within a supermarket
  • Strong knowledge of fresh produce, stock control and merchandising
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Commercial awareness with experience achieving sales and margin targets
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
