Experienced Water Treatment Engineer looking for your next challenge?

We're working with a leading specialist engineering business that is looking to appoint an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join its team.

This is a field-based role covering Southern England, working with commercial and industrial customers and providing hands-on technical support across a range of water treatment systems.

You'll be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing water treatment equipment, while developing strong relationships with customers across your region.

The Role

You'll work across a variety of water treatment systems and equipment, including:

• Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
• Water softeners
• Deionisation / DI systems
• Filtration equipment
• Pumps and associated equipment
• Valves and mechanical components
• Water treatment plant and ancillary equipment

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and commissioning water treatment equipment
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and servicing
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
• Fault-finding across mechanical and water treatment systems
• Replacing pumps, valves, membranes, filters and other components
• Carrying out system modifications and remedial works
• Testing and commissioning equipment
• Completing detailed service reports
• Providing technical support and advice to customers
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Travelling throughout Southern England to customer sites

About You

We're looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and/or water treatment.

You may currently be working as a:

Water Treatment Engineer | Service Engineer | Field Service Engineer | Mechanical Engineer | Mechanical Fitter | Mechanical Pipefitter | Installation Engineer | Commissioning Engineer

You'll ideally have experience with some of the following:

• Water treatment equipment
• Reverse Osmosis
• Water softeners
• DI / demineralisation
• Pumps and valves
• Mechanical pipework
• Installation and commissioning
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Fault-finding and repairs

We're also happy to consider strong mechanical engineers or pipefitters who have the practical skills required and are interested in developing their career within water treatment.

Most importantly, you'll be hands-on, technically capable and comfortable working independently at customer sites.

Location

Watford / Southern England

The role will involve regular travel throughout Southern England, visiting customer sites.

Candidates based anywhere within a reasonable travelling distance of the territory will be considered, provided they are comfortable with the travel requirements.
