We’re working with an established and growing water treatment business looking for a commercially minded Account Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of customers across London and the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the water treatment industry, enjoys building long-term customer relationships and wants genuine ownership of their territory and accounts.

The Role

As Water Treatment Account Manager, you will manage and develop a portfolio of commercial customers across London and the South East, ensuring excellent service while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing and developing existing customer relationships
• Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and account value
• Retaining key accounts and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Working closely with operational and technical teams to deliver excellent service
• Preparing quotations, proposals and commercial presentations
• Conducting regular customer meetings and site visits
• Identifying additional water treatment and water hygiene requirements
• Developing new opportunities within existing accounts
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales activity
• Managing your own territory and sales pipeline
• Working towards agreed revenue and margin targets

About You

We’re looking for someone with a genuine understanding of the water treatment sector and a proven track record in account management, sales or business development.

• Water Treatment Account Manager
• Water Treatment Sales Executive
• Water Treatment Business Development Manager
• Water Hygiene Account Manager
• Technical Sales Engineer
• Service Sales / Account Manager

You'll ideally have experience working with commercial water treatment, water hygiene, legionella, closed systems, chemical treatment or associated compliance services.

Most importantly, you’ll be commercially aware, confident dealing with customers and capable of developing relationships at all levels.
