THE COMPANY:

Our client is a leading provider of automatic fire protection and integrated fire suppression solutions, delivering complex projects across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, data centre and critical infrastructure sectors.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects from initial client engagement through design development, estimating, production and construction delivery.

THE ROLE:

The successful Project Manager will take ownership of multiple fire protection projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through to completion.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong technical, commercial and client management skills. Working closely with designers, estimators, manufacturing teams, site personnel and customers, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects from initial specification through to final handover
  • Coordinating design, estimating, manufacturing and installation activities
  • Managing client relationships and project stakeholder expectations
  • Reviewing project specifications, drawings and technical requirements
  • Supporting tender reviews and commercial assessments
  • Managing project programmes, costs and resources
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
  • Attending client, design and progress meetings
  • Monitoring project performance against budget and programme targets
  • Managing project risks, variations and commercial challenges
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and industry standards
  • Supporting the continued growth of the project delivery function

THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within fire protection, sprinkler systems, mechanical contracting, building services or specialist construction project environments.

Candidates with automatic fire suppression or sprinkler project experience will be particularly attractive. However, we are also keen to speak with strong Mechanical Project Managers from construction or building services backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous Project Management experience within construction or engineering
  • Fire sprinkler or fire suppression experience would be highly advantageous
  • Mechanical building services or mechanical contracting experience
  • Experience managing projects through design, construction and handover stages
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Client-facing experience and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Full driving licence

THE PACKAGE:

  • Base Salary: €80,000 – €90,000 DOE (up to €100,000 for exceptional candidates)
