Programme Manager – Insurance / Technology / Governance – 80k to 120k

I am currently helping our Client seeking a Programme Manager to join the team in Hong Kong.

Role

• Oversee the technological delivery for crucial strategic initiatives in the business.
• Coordinate several large-scale projects and programs to meet defined business objectives and KPIs.
• Guide a team of project managers, analysts, engineers, and testers to ensure that the program adheres to established plans and milestones.
• Manage all facets of the program delivery, which includes but is not limited to: o Financial management of the program and projects o Execution and delivery of the program o Reporting on the program o Risk management for the program.
• Engage with, support, and manage senior stakeholders (C-level) across various departments. Foster and participate in effective Steering committees.
• Collaborate with Group office stakeholders for reporting and alignment purposes.
• Participate in planning and strategic discussions, providing strong technical, digital, and analytical support to business stakeholders.
• Influence and guide business teams towards achieving necessary outcomes that generate business value.
• Set the strategic direction and path for the overall program. Drive and oversee the delivery of individual component projects.

Requirements

• Experience in Project/Program Management, with substantial experience in the Financial Sector.
• Excellent and effective communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at various levels across complex organizational structures.
• Relevant higher education qualification in an IT-related field.
• Familiarity with financial management/budgets in relation to project execution.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with proven experience presenting to senior (C-Level) audiences.
• Extensive knowledge of SDLC / Agile / DevOps methodologies.
• Adept understanding of current industry best practices and approaches to Project management and Agile methodologies.
• Robust knowledge of digital transformation within the finance/insurance sectors, with clear evidence of managing large, intricate strategic programs.
• Demonstrated experience in utilizing AI and GenAI to enhance productivity both personally and within diverse teams.
• Capable of thriving in fast-paced and challenging environments.
• Self-motivated, creative thinker, proactive, enthusiastic, and a collaborative team member.
• Takes initiative and responsibility for hands-on delivery with meticulous attention to detail.
