Compounding Technician / Chemical Operator

Hickory, NC
3rd Shift
Starting Pay: $18.00+ (Based on Experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Process and mix chemicals following formulas and batch instructions
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot minor issues
• Operate a forklift as needed
• Complete production paperwork and documentation
• Use Microsoft Excel and Word for daily tasks
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Good math and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work throughout the production facility

Preferred Experience:

• Chemical manufacturing or production experience
• Experience working with liquid processing equipment
• Knowledge of basic chemistry
• Experience with boilers, wastewater systems, or hoisting equipment is a plus
• Forklift experience preferred

Ideal candidates will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
