THE ROLE:

Reporting into the HSQE function, you'll play a key role in supporting project teams across multiple sites while driving high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.

  • Support the implementation and continual improvement of HSQE systems and procedures
  • Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews across multiple projects
  • Prepare and deliver toolbox talks, method statements, risk assessments and Safe Plans of Action
  • Provide practical health & safety guidance to management, site teams and subcontractors
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Manage safety documentation, reporting and compliance systems
  • Support training, inductions and competency management across project teams
  • Liaise with clients, regulators and external stakeholders on all health & safety matters


THE PERSON:

This role is ideal for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor looking to step into a more senior position, or an existing Senior Health & Safety Advisor seeking exposure to larger civil engineering and utilities projects.

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a Health & Safety or HSQE role
  • Experience working within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure or construction environments
  • Relevant Health & Safety qualification
  • Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation
  • Experience carrying out audits, inspections and incident investigations
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong reporting, communication and organisational skills
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
