THE COMPANY:

Our client is a well-established Irish engineering company that designs, manufactures and delivers specialist industrial solutions to customers across Ireland, Europe and further afield. Renowned for engineering excellence and innovation, they continue to invest in their people, facilities and technology as the business grows.

Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team.

THE ROLE:

The successful Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, specification, implementation and delivery of electrical systems across a range of engineering projects.

Working closely with project managers, production teams, suppliers and customers, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the design and development of electrical systems for engineering projects

• Producing and reviewing electrical drawings and documentation

• Assisting with control panel and electrical equipment specification

• Coordinating with project, production and commissioning teams

• Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations

• Supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities

• Liaising with customers, suppliers and subcontractors where required

• Assisting with project scheduling and technical problem solving

• Maintaining accurate engineering documentation and records

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business

THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within electrical engineering, automation, controls, manufacturing, industrial engineering or project engineering environments. However, we are also open to candidates from closely related sectors with strong electrical knowledge and a willingness to develop.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

• Experience working within an industrial, manufacturing or project environment

• Strong electrical design and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of electrical systems, controls and industrial equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams

• A proactive and solutions-focused attitude

THE PACKAGE:

• Base Salary: €50,000 – €65,000 DOE

LOCATION:

Ideally based in Louth, Meath, Monaghan, Cavan, North Dublin or surrounding areas.
