Salary: €55,000 – €63,000 + Company Van | Fuel Card | Pension

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a specialist provider of temperature-controlled and refrigeration solutions, supporting customers across food production, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, logistics and industrial sectors.

Their equipment includes modular refrigeration units, cold rooms, blast chillers, blast freezers, temperature-controlled storage systems and process cooling equipment. These systems are used in a variety of critical environments where reliable refrigeration and temperature control are essential. Similar equipment is commonly used throughout the modular cold storage and temperature control sector.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to support customers throughout Leinster.

THE ROLE:

The successful Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and commissioning specialist refrigeration and temperature-controlled equipment across the territory.

This is a field-based role that would suit a technically strong engineer who enjoys fault-finding, customer interaction and working on a range of refrigeration technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Servicing and maintaining modular refrigeration systems

• Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration breakdowns

• Working on cold rooms, blast chillers and temperature-controlled storage units

• Fault-finding on compressors, condensers, evaporators and refrigeration controls

• Carrying out preventative maintenance activities

• Supporting equipment installations and commissioning projects

• Performing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

• Completing service documentation and maintenance reports

• Providing technical support to customers

• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and equipment uptime

THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within refrigeration, HVAC, industrial cooling, facilities management, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Refrigeration qualification or recognised industry certification

• Experience servicing commercial or industrial refrigeration systems

• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems

• Experience working on compressors, controls and refrigerant circuits

• Good customer-facing and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a territory

• F-Gas certification would be highly advantageous

• Full clean driving licence

LOCATION:

Ideally based in Louth, Meath, North Kildare or North Dublin, but open to candidates located anywhere within the Leinster territory.
