Join a well-established organisation operating within the residential aged care sector. They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Officer to take ownership of maintenance across a 100-bed facility in Warrawee.
This is a permanent, site-based position offering plenty of autonomy and variety, ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to person for all things maintenance.

The Role
As the sole Maintenance Officer on site, you’ll take responsibility for the general upkeep of the facility, grounds, plant and equipment.
No two days will be exactly the same. You’ll complete general repairs and maintenance including painting, plastering, equipment repairs, minor plumbing and electrical work and gardening, while bringing in specialist contractors when required.
You’ll also manage preventative and corrective maintenance schedules, maintain accurate records and coordinate external trades and maintenance suppliers attending the facility.
Requirements
- Hands-on general maintenance experience
- A practical, all-round maintenance skill set
- Trade qualification highly regarded – any trade considered
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own workload
- Experience organising and coordinating external trades
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety
- Previous aged care or healthcare maintenance experience advantageous, but not essential
- Electrical licence is not required
