Apply directOur client, is a global manufacturer of electronic products for the Automotive industry.
They are hiring a Product Management Manager for Automotive Asia-Pacific team, reporting to Director, PM Asia-Pacific. This role will closely work with product management team in China, Japan, ASEAN and Korea, as well as other key function team such as sales, engineering, operation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage product margin to achieve target level (Cost reduction, pricing, manufacturing strategy etc).
- Manage standard product capacity plan and advance risk mitigation (Demand forecast, supply and resource management, urgent issue handling etc.)
- Drive product development & evolution to build / maintain market leadership (Market/trend analysis, product/project launch).
- Support AP PM team for other tasks (KPI target/ progress tracking, cross-country project coordination and best practice sharing).
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree (Engineering an advantage)
- 5+ years of preferably product management or project management (including some product management work)
- Automotive or manufacturing industry background
- Strong communication skill needed with cross-country team
- Pro-active and fast speed of learning skill
- Frequent travel expected, especially within Asia-Pacific region
- Fluent Japanese (needs written, read, oral communication) and Fluent English, other language such as Chinese/Japanese/Korean would be good plus
