The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a mixed portfolio across Professional Indemnity and Management Liability products, supported by both local and Lloyd’s capacity. The role offers strong exposure across underwriting, broker management, and portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a mixed Professional Indemnity and Management Liability portfolio
- Underwrite business across both local and Lloyd’s capacity markets
- Coordinate quotes, renewals, endorsements, and policy processing in a timely manner
- Drive renewal retention through proactive portfolio management and service delivery
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through broker engagement
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen broker relationships across the market
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage in line with underwriting appetite
- Deliver a high level of service to brokers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
Skills & Experience
- Minimum two years’ experience within Professional Indemnity, either in broking or underwriting
- Exposure to Financial Lines / Management Liability products highly regarded
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Existing broker relationships highly advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Commercial mindset with a focus on growth and retention
