EQUIP People is looking for reliable Track Maintenance Staff to help maintain public tracks, pathways, reserve accessways and outdoor recreational areas across the Wellington region.
If you enjoy working outdoors, are physically fit, and take pride in keeping public spaces safe and accessible, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team in a hands-on temporary role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining public tracks, walkways, and reserve accessways
- Clearing vegetation and managing weed growth
- Using hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Assisting with general track and reserve upkeep
- Working across parks, reserves, and outdoor public spaces
- Following all health & safety procedures on site
What We're Looking For
- Previous outdoor labouring, landscaping, horticulture or maintenance experience
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail and ability to work safely
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks if required
What's On Offer
- $29.90 per hour
- Monday to Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm
- Temporary full-time assignment
- Weekly pay
- Opportunity to work across Wellington's parks and reserves
