EQUIP People is looking for reliable Horticulture Staff to join a team maintaining parks, reserves, gardens and public spaces across the Wellington region.
If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work and have experience in gardening or horticulture, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team in a hands-on temporary role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Planting, pruning, weeding and mulching gardens
- Maintaining parks, reserves and landscaped public spaces
- Watering plants and carrying out general landscape maintenance
- Operating horticultural tools and equipment safely
- Assisting with general garden and park upkeep
- Working as part of a team to maintain high presentation standards
- Following all health & safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous gardening, landscaping or horticultural experience
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks if required
What's On Offer
- $29.90 per hour
- Monday to Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm
- Temporary full-time assignment
- Weekly pay
