Senior Estimator

The Opportunity

A well-established developer-builder and head contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team in Sydney’s inner south. With a strong pipeline of high-density Class 2 residential projects (circa $80M–$120M), this role will play a key part in securing and delivering future work.

This is a great opportunity to step into a business where you’ll have genuine input across both development and construction phases, working closely with senior leadership.

• Lead estimating on large-scale residential projects ($80M–$100M+)
• Prepare detailed cost plans, BOQs, and tender submissions
• Manage subcontractor pricing and procurement strategies
• Collaborate with development, design, and delivery teams
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Contribute to feasibility and early-stage project input

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator on high-density residential projects
• Strong exposure to Class 2 builds ($80M+ preferred)
• Background with a head contractor or developer-builder
• Strong knowledge of the Sydney subcontractor market
• High level of commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
