Apply directDean & Ling Executive has been engaged exclusively by a profitable, growth-oriented organisation with operations spanning Australia and international markets. As the business scales within an exciting new product/category, they are seeking an exceptional Group CFO to join the Executive Leadership Team and help shape the next chapter of growth.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially sharp, governance-savvy finance leader to take true end-to-end ownership of the Group's financial, commercial and governance agenda. Reporting to the Group CEO and working closely with the Chairman and significant shareholders, you will be the trusted financial and commercial advisor at the heart of a fast-moving business in a regulated sector. The core objectives of the role are to drive sustainable growth, optimise capital allocation, lead corporate transactions and ensure the highest standards of financial integrity, governance and regulatory compliance across Australia and international operations. You will lead everything from treasury, tax and statutory reporting through to M&A, capital structure, board governance and commercial negotiations. Your mandate will be to protect and grow shareholder value while building a high-performing finance function.
This is a genuine opportunity for a highly commercial, strategic and motivated senior finance professional to stamp their mark on the long-term success and growth of a genuinely purpose led business. You will possess previous multi-jurisdictional experience in an early stage or high growth product business (ideally in a regulated sector). The success of the business can also be attributed to its core values, and as such, you should be a down to earth and natural leader with a passion for excellence and the drive to foster a collegial, accountable and high-performance workplace culture. You still enjoy being ‘hands-on’, and your strong financial management experience and demonstrable commercial acumen are complemented by your collaborative and persuasive influencing style, together with your flair for identifying opportunities to improve business performance.
