A little bit about the role:
Produce weekly and monthly financial reports across commercial and operational areas.
Analyse costs, variances, profitability, and performance trends to support decision-making.
Provide pricing analysis and financial modelling to support commercial activity.
Work closely with production teams to understand labour, material, and efficiency performance.
Support month-end reporting including P&L analysis and commentary.
Assist with quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting processes.
Monitor inventory performance, stock movements, and stock accuracy.
Support capital expenditure reporting, approvals, and spend control.
Deliver ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
Help improve financial controls, reporting processes, and system accuracy.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accounts, or commercial finance role.
Comfortable working with large data sets and interpreting financial information.
Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and modelling.
Able to communicate confidently with non-financial stakeholders.
Organised and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience within manufacturing, operations, or industrial sectors desirable.
Studying towards or qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA would be advantageous.
