Senior Microsoft Cloud & Consulting Manager Melbourne (St Kilda Road) | Hybrid

We're seeking a commercially minded technical leader to join an established Microsoft- focused consultancy. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of consultants, work closely with an existing client base, remain hands-on with Microsoft technologies, and ultimately take ownership of a growing consulting division.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead a team of seven technical consultants while remaining actively involved in the delivery of Microsoft cloud solutions for a diverse client base across industries including retail, manufacturing and professional services.
This role is approximately 80% technical delivery and customer engagement, with around 20% focused on commercial activities, including solution scoping, identifying opportunities within existing clients and supporting business growth.
You'll be joining a stable, growing business with an established customer base, so there are no aggressive sales targets or expectations to generate new business from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Microsoft consultants.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with an established portfolio of clients.
• Deliver Microsoft cloud solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint and Modern Workplace technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project delivery.
• Assist clients with cloud migrations, infrastructure modernisation and Microsoft licensing.
• Scope new opportunities and prepare technical solutions for existing customers.
• Work closely with the CEO to drive the growth and future direction of the consulting division.
• Stay current with emerging Microsoft technologies, including AI and Copilot.
About You
You'll come from a Microsoft Partner, Managed Services Provider (MSP) or IT Consultancy environment and enjoy combining technical expertise with leadership and customer engagement.
You'll ideally have:
• Extensive experience working with Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Microsoft licensing.
• A hands-on technical background with the ability to guide delivery teams.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical consultants.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer relationship management skills.
•Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with aspirations to grow into a senior leadership position.
• A passion for emerging technologies including AI and Microsoft's evolving cloud ecosystem.
