This dynamic role offers the chance to contribute to a reputable not-for-profit, supporting the entire employee lifecycle and fostering organisational growth through strategic and operational HR initiatives. The position is available on a flexible, part-time basis through to December 2026, with an immediate start in late August.
In this key advisory capacity, you will work closely with senior leadership to deliver comprehensive HR services, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, and staff wellbeing. Your expertise will help underpin a positive workplace culture and ensure the organisation adheres to all relevant legislative and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in HR and administration roles, particularly in recruitment, onboarding, and HR systems
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and high level of confidentiality
- Ability to develop strong working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working within not-for-profit or education sectors
- Familiarity with child safety requirements and regulatory compliance
- Previous exposure to HR projects such as staff wellbeing programs or professional development initiatives
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Demonstrated prior experience in a similar HR generalist or coordinator role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or related disciplines
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to support regulatory audits and compliance processes
- Strong organisational skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
