- This is a fully office-based role, so we're looking for someone who enjoys being onsite and working closely with the wider team.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the day-to-day finance operations, including month-end reporting, financial controls, and ensuring accurate financial records.
- Oversee inventory management for the boutiques, including stock reconciliations, stock counts, and maintaining robust controls over high-value luxury inventory.
- Ensure the business remains audit-ready by maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting compliance requirements.
- Prepare financial reports for the Group Finance team in APAC and ensure all reporting deadlines and compliance obligations are met.
- Partner closely with the General Manager to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies across the business.
- Regularly visit the boutique locations to oversee inventory management and support operational requirements.
About you
You'll be someone who enjoys working in a broad, autonomous role and is comfortable wearing multiple hats within a growing business.
You'll ideally bring:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (CPA is not required)
- Proven experience in finance operations and financial reporting.
- Strong inventory or stock control experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) or a similar ERP system.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- The confidence to work independently and take ownership of your function.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to build and improve processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders across Australia and Asia.
- Experience within luxury retail, retail, wholesale or inventory-based businesses is highly regarded.
- Experience working with an Asia-Pacific regional head office is desirable but not a necessity.
