About the Company

Working for a major organisation within the government infrastructure sector, you will join a team responsible for delivering a significant portfolio of large-scale capital projects across Victoria. As part of its ongoing digital transformation, the organisation has secured approval for a new enterprise Contract Management System and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead this high-profile initiative from procurement through to implementation.

About the Role

Reporting to senior stakeholders across Commercial, Procurement and Technology, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a new enterprise Contract Management System (CMS). Initially, you will manage the procurement process, including tender development, vendor evaluation, demonstrations and commercial negotiations, before transitioning into implementation and business rollout.

Working across Commercial, Legal, Finance, Technology and Infrastructure Delivery teams, you will establish project governance, manage the implementation partner and software vendor, oversee system configuration, integrations, testing and data migration, and drive business readiness and user adoption. This is a highly visible role with strong executive sponsorship and the opportunity to deliver a critical enterprise platform that will support the organisation's long-term commercial operations.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering enterprise technology or business transformation projects.
  • Hands-on experience implementing a Contract Management System (CMS) or Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform
  • Proven experience leading RFP/tender and vendor selection processes for enterprise software or SaaS solutions.
  • Experience managing software vendors, implementation partners and systems integrators through end-to-end delivery.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex stakeholder groups across Procurement, Commercial, Legal, Finance and Technology.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, budget management and executive reporting.
  • Proven ability to lead business readiness, change management and user adoption for enterprise system implementations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence senior executives in a complex organisational environment.
  • Experience within government, major infrastructure, construction or other complex capital delivery environments is highly desirable.
