Senior Cloud Engineer

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management, optimisation and support of Azure cloud services, while helping to uplift internal capability and maintain a secure, reliable cloud environment.

Working as part of a collaborative infrastructure team, you'll provide technical expertise across Azure, identity management and cloud operations, ensuring incidents are resolved efficiently while driving continuous improvement across the platform.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and administer Azure subscriptions and cloud services.
• Support and resolve BAU requests through the ServiceNow ticket queue.
• Manage Azure Identity and Access Management, including Entra ID.
• Configure and maintain Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access Policies and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Monitor platform health and provide recommendations for optimisation and continual improvement.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and support production environments.
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to operational best practices.
• Train and mentor internal team members to build Azure capability.

About You You'll be an experienced Azure Engineer who enjoys balancing operational support with continuous improvement.

Ideally you'll bring:

• Strong commercial experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience with Entra ID, Azure AD, Identity & Access Management, Conditional Access and PIM.
• Experience working within ITIL environments and managing BAU support activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
