Account Manager – Equine & Veterinary
South of England
Base salary up to £55K + Company Bonus + Car
Are you an equine veterinary nurse, clinician or animal health professional looking to take your career in a more commercial direction?
We’re working with a highly regarded business within the veterinary and animal health sector, with an established and diverse portfolio of products across the equine and small animal markets.
They’re looking for an Account Manager to build relationships with veterinary practices, referral hospitals and equine referral centres across the South of England.
You don’t need a long track record in sales. What matters most is your clinical credibility, understanding of the veterinary and equine market, commercial curiosity and ability to build trusted relationships.
Why This Role?
A genuine opportunity to move into commercial animal health. Your clinical knowledge and understanding of the industry will give you the credibility to open doors and have meaningful conversations with veterinary professionals.
A broad product portfolio. You’ll have a variety of products and solutions to work with, creating opportunities to introduce new products, upsell and cross-sell rather than relying on one or two core products.
A collaborative culture. There are no individual sales targets driving the bonus structure. Success is shared, with company performance forming the basis of the bonus scheme.
Support to help you succeed. You’ll receive coaching and mentoring from an experienced senior sales professional. It’s a lean team, but you’ll have access to experienced colleagues and resources across the wider business.
A territory you can manage intelligently. This is a large geographical area, but it’s not about spending every day in the car. Good diary management, territory planning and prioritisation will be key to achieving your commercial goals.

The Role
You’ll take responsibility for developing your territory and building long-term relationships with veterinary practices and referral hospitals.

Could This Be You?
If you have a clinical or scientific background, understand the equine market and enjoy building professional relationships, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop your commercial career.
You don’t need to be a natural-born salesperson. If you’re credible, curious, organised and confident enough to open doors and build trust, we’d love to hear from you.
