Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Heavy Road Vehicle Mechanic to join a well-established mining services operation supporting mobile plant and heavy vehicle fleets across Western Australia.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Fault finding, maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of heavy vehicles and mobile plant equipment.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and low-voltage electrical faults.
- Completing preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring inventory is kept up to date.
- Supporting operational teams and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with supervisors and maintenance personnel to ensure fleet reliability and safety.
- Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanics (Cert III or equivalent).
- Strong experience maintaining heavy vehicles and mobile plant equipment.
- Proven fault-finding ability across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Experience working with low-voltage electrical systems and automated controls.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Current HR Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence.
- Ability to obtain relevant security clearances if required.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and within a team environment.
