The role

Depending on the position, your responsibilities may include:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to venue standards
• Running your section and organising preparation for service
• Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
• Contributing to menu planning and recipe development
• Monitoring stock, ordering requirements and food waste
• Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
• Supporting and training junior kitchen staff
• Working closely with front-of-house staff to deliver efficient service

About you

• A relevant commercial cookery qualification or international equivalent
• Experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
• Strong cooking skills and attention to presentation
• Ability to stay organised during busy service periods
• Sound food safety and kitchen hygiene knowledge
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Willingness to live and work in regional Australia
