We’re working with a growing data consultancy that partners with organisations to modernise their data environments, improve decision-making and build scalable, future-ready data platforms.
They are looking for a Senior Data Consultant who can quickly get across a modern data stack and work closely with customers to understand their current data landscape, challenges, capability and future needs. This is a highly consultative role, suited to someone who enjoys engaging with stakeholders, shaping solutions and guiding delivery teams to ensure outcomes are practical, fit for purpose and aligned to business goals.

They are looking for a Senior Data Consultant who can quickly get across a modern data stack and work closely with customers to understand their current data landscape, challenges, capability and future needs. This is a highly consultative role, suited to someone who enjoys engaging with stakeholders, shaping solutions and guiding delivery teams to ensure outcomes are practical, fit for purpose and aligned to business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead current-state assessments across client data environments.
- Engage stakeholders to understand pain points, capability gaps and future data needs.
- Support future-state architecture recommendations and roadmap development.
- Act as technical lead across projects, guiding consultants and data engineers.
- Oversee solution design across integration, transformation, reporting and analytics.
- Translate business requirements into practical and scalable data solutions.
- Ensure delivery is fit for purpose and aligned to client outcomes.
- Build strong customer relationships through clear, confident communication.
- Strong modern data platform experience, ideally Snowflake, dbt or Coalesce.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau and/or Fivetran.
- Confident engaging with customers, stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Able to lead technical direction across data projects.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, integration, transformation and analytics.
- Experience assessing current-state environments and shaping future-state recommendations.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Consulting experience preferred, though strong customer-facing experience will also be considered.
