This role offers the opportunity to take a high-growth products to market, develop new business opportunities across multiple industries, and play a key role in driving commercial success within a nationally recognised organisation.
This is not a traditional account management role. We are seeking a genuine business developer who enjoys identifying opportunities, opening doors, influencing stakeholders and converting prospects into long-term customers.
The Opportunity
Reporting to a senior sales leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies for a portfolio of innovative packaging solutions, delivering new business revenue, and expanding market penetration across key industry sectors.
You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand market needs, identify opportunities for growth and deliver commercially successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

Developing and executing business development strategies to drive revenue growth.

Identifying, targeting and securing new customers across key market segments.

Building and managing a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and relationship development.

Leading customer presentations, product demonstrations and commercial negotiations.

Working cross-functionally with operations, technical, commercial and supply chain teams.

Managing customer projects, trials and new product implementation activities.

Attending industry events and networking opportunities to promote products and solutions.

Providing market intelligence, customer insights and competitive analysis.

Maintaining accurate CRM and sales reporting data.
About You
You are a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys a blend of strategic market development, customer engagement and solution selling.
You will possess:

Proven experience in a Business Development Manager, Territory Manager, Area Sales Manager or similar new business role.

A track record of identifying and winning new and exisiting business opportunities.

Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating contracts and managing margins.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

The ability to operate within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Experience selling technical, operational or value-added solutions.
