Overview
Join a leading global asset and wealth management firm as a Vestmark PortfolioONE Configuration Consultant and become a pivotal part of a transformative platform migration. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise in Vestmark configuration to support a high-impact conversion initiative, helping to redesign data architecture, ensure data integrity, and deliver seamless system integration. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of investment technology, collaborating closely with business, operations, and tech stakeholders to drive a successful platform upgrade that enhances client service and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• Proven hands-on experience configuring and implementing Vestmark environments, beyond end-user or product ownership roles
• Strong knowledge of portfolio accounting, books and records, and investment operations technology
• Solid understanding of investment data structures and downstream data integrations (FactSet, Morningstar, etc.)
• Experience supporting large-scale platform migrations, conversions, or system implementations
• Excellent analytical skills to assess complex data flows and identify downstream impacts
• Strong documentation, business analysis, and process development abilities
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation
• Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration across technical and business teams

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience migrating from legacy portfolio management platforms to Vestmark
• Previous involvement with PortfolioONE implementations
• Background in investment management, wealth management, or asset management firms
• Familiarity with outsourced investment operations environments
• Existing relationships or prior experience working with Vestmark Professional Services

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in investment operations, portfolio technology, or platform migration projects

Other Requirements

• Hybrid work arrangement with a preference for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area
• Ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week; some flexibility for highly qualified candidates
• Duration: 6-9 months with potential for extension
• Approximate workload: 40 hours/week
• Compensation: $130/hr, commensurate with experience
